Join us on a mindful walk of the Wey & Arun Canal whilst learning how to make your business more sustainable and how to make a net zero carbon footprint happen.
We will be met with a warm welcome in Bramley, at the beautiful barn workspace of LC Energy and 5D NetZero. Our hosts Mark, Charlotte and Luke together with Margaret Darvill of The Wey & Arun Canal Trust, will introduce us to their businesses and the aims of the session.
The Wey & Arun Trust is a charity aiming to restore an abandoned 23 mile stretch of canal back to its former glory. Throughout the walk Margaret will be highlighting the story and its progress to date, and we will see find out how a wide variety of wildlife has improved as the canal restoration has progressed. Getting to spend time as a membership group out in nature.
Mark, Charlotte and Luke will be exploring sustainable energy alternatives and tailored carbon reduction plans. We will share learning on how to implement this into our own businesses as we gather and talk throughout the walk.
At the end of the walk, we will head back to our Bramley base for hot teas and coffee and delicious snacks to spend some time networking and sharing ideas and thoughts amongst the group.
