Returning to Nature. A collaboration between HINOKI Forest Bathing and Surrey Hills Qigong, Sue Llewellyn in a private woodland in Shere.
Join us on a mindful, sensory journey that opens us up to nature, combining the gentle movements and breath of Qigong with awe-inspiring connection to nature with Forest Bathing in a private woodland in Shere.
As we forest bathe, we take in nature that surrounds us, allowing it to help us slow down and teach us to be at one with her and in turn, with ourselves. Guided invitations to experience nature’s offerings, like scents, sounds, and energy in the forest help us to be fully present and engaged, helping us to calm our minds and rest our bodies, as well as improve our health.
To enhance further our experience in nature, we introduce the practice of Qigong (chi-gong).
When we observe nature, we see that she moves, flows and bends with what surrounds her. She grows leaves to harness the sunlight when the days are longer, releases them when she needs to conserve. She migrates when seasons change, and gives birth when she is abundant. There is synchronicity and flow.
Qigong teaches us to be with this synchronicity and flow, using nature’s energy that surrounds us, emphasising that deep connection and seasonal energies. Practicing qigong in a tranquil forest setting enhances this connection, making the experience more meaningful and spiritually enriching.
The combination of Qigong with Forest Bathing takes our experience with nature to another level, one that brings us even closer to nature, significantly enhancing relaxation and reducing stress.
Both Forest Bathing and Qigong have been scientifically proven to reduce stress, boost immunity, and enhance wellbeing. Join us for an experience that brings you rest, health, and wellbeing.
