Start the day with a herbal tea workshop, learning about the properties of herbs to make healthy and delicious teas.
Following this is Shakyo Meditation. Shakyo is the practice of tracing the Buddhist sutra written in Japanese calligraphy with a brush or brush pen. By tracing each Japanese character in the Buddhist sutra and focusing on the ink on paper, shakyo is said to be effective in stabilising the mind as the mind goes into a concentration mode while tracing. This form of meditation can help one become more present and calm, reaching a state of mindfulness and peaceful zen.
To end the day, we immerse ourselves into the woods for a calming and peaceful forest bathing experience.
