Car Park

This short loop of a bit more than 200m from the Hurtwood Holmbury Hill car park, takes you to one of Surrey Hills Arts Inspiring Views, and the accessible artwork Converse https://www.surreyhillsarts.org/permanent-works/converse/ that literally encourages you to sit down and use it.

This series of three benches erected in a circle has spaces between each bench designed to accommodate comfortably a wheelchair, allowing your group to sit and all engage with each other…or simply just take in the views in silence!

With sweeping views across the Weald towards the South Downs this is a magical spot, and ideal for picnics – but please make sure to take all your rubbish away with you.

Work is planned to improve access from the carpark to the start of the trail.

Start in carpark and pass around the fire access gate, taking the trail to your immediate right. This leads to a well surfaced track that takes you to Converse. https://www.surreyhillsarts.org/permanent-works/converse/
