6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work (Plus optional Forestry)

Our 1-day/ 6 hour Emergency First Aid at Work course meets the requirements set by the Health & Safety Executive and the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This course is designed for individuals working in low-risk environments, such as offices and shops, to give delegates the confidence and competence to act in the event of an emergency, whilst waiting for further medical help to arrive.
Our course is delivered by our expert trainers and includes course resources, access to free skills update every year and a HSE recognised certificate which is valid for three years.
Course Content:
- Adult resuscitation (CPR)
- Burns and scalds
- Choking adult
- Communication and casualty care
- The use of a Defibrillator in the chain of survival
- Minor and severe bleeding
- Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
- Seizures and managing a fit
- Shock (including anaphylactic shock)
- Managing an unresponsive patient
All delegates receive FREE skills update training annually as recommended by the Health and Safety Executive.
Training includes certificate, refreshments, free parking, and online resources.
