Event Description:
Join us for an enchanting evening under the stars on Sunday, 23rd February, at Newlands Corner, starting from 6:30 pm. This free event, hosted by Guildford Astronomical Society, celebrates the dark skies of the Surrey Hills – vital for both wildlife and our wellbeing.
The highlight of the evening will be the Planetary Parade, where almost all the planets of our solar system will be visible in the night sky. A rare occurrence, a planetary parade happens when several planets align on the same side of the Sun, offering a stunning opportunity to explore the wonders of the cosmos.
