A unique hiking experience of 4 to 5 miles/7km during Twilight hours over beautiful heathland on Blackheath’s darker paths.
Join us to walk through the pine forest of Blackheath Common near Guildford during twilight hours passed sunset.
Simone, a local resident and hiking guide will invite you through some beautiful woodland paths and explore Blackheath, a site of SSSI, Sites of Special Scientific Interest.
Get a glimpse into Blackheath’s history and discover artefacts that still today tell the stories of explosions, disappearances, invasions, and 2 exotic residents, whose roars you could hear for miles.
Difficulty: Easy to moderate: Sandy paths, moderate due to visibility later in the evening.
Duration: 2-2.5h
Bring: Torch (last part of the walk will be in the dark)
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs allowed.

The Villager’s Pub car park , approx 250m walk uphill (Villagers Pub is currently closed, pub sign removed)
