Back on Track and Lisa from Hinoki Forest bathing are collaborating again to bring you a wonderful experience of summer foraging
With long warm days, midsummer is a magical time to forage culinary and medicinal wild plants. Several species are traditionally thought to reach their peak in midsummer, including yarrow, St John’s Wort, and mugwort. Join us for a mindful walk in nature in search of wild edibles for your kitchen and natural apothecary. We finish our walk with a taste of wild food, teas and tonics made with foraged ingredients and a sample of homemade herbal medicine made with foraged plants.
Lisa is very knowledgable and a fantastic teacher and you’ll be taking away many tips for making your own natural remedies.
We finish our session with a taste of wild food (a drink and a food item made of foraged ingredients)
Lisa is an experienced foraging guide, having studied at The Forest Bathing Institute (TFBI) in the UK. While working with TFBI, she worked with the International Society of Nature and Forest Medicine (INFOM) and Dr Qing Li, the world’s foremost expert in forest medicine, to establish Dr Li as an advisor to TFBI’s forest bathing research.
