Hike with us to discover the wonderful wildlife that calls the Surrey Hills home. On our route, taking in Leith Hill and its stunning surroundings, we will be joined by Ross Packman, a Conservation Officer with a passion for next-door nature.

Back on Track is excited to join Surrey Wildlife Trust as a Small Business Supporter, and collaborate on a wonderful scenic hike, with a focus on spotting and discovering local wildlife en-route.
Spring will have well and truly sprung, so we’ll keep our eyes and ears open for woodlands full of wildflowers, arriving migrants such as Blackcap and Chiffchaff, and the numerous birds of prey that ride the thermals rising above the Greensand Ridge.

This hike has some stunning hill-top views, lush woodland trails through Wotton Common on the approach to Leith Hill, and along the Greensand Way towards Holmbury Hill.

Simone is a North Downs Way Ambassador, and passionate about the Surrey countryside, its history of people and places, and the importance of changes and protection in today’s times.

Ross, is a Surrey Wildlife Trust Engagement and Conservation Officer for the Wilder Schools project, encouraging local educators to improve biodiversity in their grounds and take more of their lessons outside.
