Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and hands-on Marketing Executive to join our small but passionate team. This role will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging marketing activity across three core areas:

  1. Events Marketing – promoting a vibrant programme of public and member events.
  2. Member Marketing – supporting our members with campaigns that raise their profiles.
  3. SHE Brand Marketing – building visibility to attract new members, partners, and supporters.

Location: Remote working with attendance at fortnightly team meetings and Surrey Hills events

Travel: Attend meetings and events across the Surrey Hills – Driving is essential
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible) – up to 6 weekends and one evening per month will be required
Salary: £30k – £33k FTE (pro rata based on 20 hours per week

 

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Planning & Delivery

  • Plan and deliver engaging marketing campaigns for public and member events
  • Draft newsletters, press releases, and promotional content.
  • Write and schedule content across social media platforms in line with our tone and brand values.
  • Assist with visuals, banners, handouts, and digital marketing assets.

Content Creation & Scheduling

  • Maintain a strategic content calendar across channels.
  • Collaborate on copy, design, and posts using tools like Canva, Copilot, and ChatGPT.
  • Write and post thought leadership and community articles to LinkedIn to increase visibility and credibility.

Social Media Engagement

  • Develop engaging content aligned with Surrey Hills key messages and post across all channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Use lead magnets and targeted posts to generate interest from potential new members.
  • Engage with followers, share Member content, and respond in line with our tone of voice.
  • Grow and manage our TikTok account with creative short-form video content that highlights events, members, and the Surrey Hills lifestyle.
  • Build and maintain our YouTube channel with curated and original content.

CRM & Data Management

  • Manage and segment contacts using Go High Level CRM.
  • Ensure data integrity and GDPR compliance.
  • Monitor analytics and report on performance and insights.

Member Marketing Support

  • Showcase members across the website and social platforms.
  • Coordinate and publish blog posts, spotlight stories, and giveaways.
  • Support the Guide to the Surrey Hills by liaising with members and promoting their listings.

Event Involvement

  • Be on-site at events to capture live content and support promotional activity.
  • Liaise with stallholders, guests, and suppliers to gather real-time stories and visual material.

Skills and Tools

  • Experienced with WordPress and Google Analytics.
  • Skilled in Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Confident using Go High Level or other CRMs.
  • Strong knowledge of social media trends, lead generation techniques, and short-form video tools.
  • Skilled in using AI tools and Canva for content creation.
  • Excellent communicator with strong prioritisation and collaboration skills.

Able to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced, flexible environment

SHE Administrative Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly organised Remote Office Administrator to join our small but dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the CEO, Event Manager, and Membership Manager in their daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of our remote office, and contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of Surrey Hills Enterprises.

 

Key Responsibilities:

– General Administrative Support:

– Provide administrative support to the CEO, Events and Membership Manager.

– Assist with scheduling and planning meetings, workshops, and events.

– Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes, and other documents for meetings.

– Maintain and update digital records, databases, and filing systems.

 

– Event Coordination:

– Assist in the planning and execution of Surrey Hills Enterprises events, including the Surrey Hills Wood Fair, Artisan Markets, and other member events.

– Liaise with event participants, suppliers, and volunteers to ensure successful event delivery.

– Manage and liaise with stallholders leading up to an event.

– Contact stallholders for feedback and to rebook for future events.

 

– Member Services:

– Support the Membership Manager in managing member communications and inquiries.

– Assist with the administration of membership applications, renewals, and benefits.

– Coordinate event logistics such as booking venues, creating joining instructions, preparing name badges, co ordinating catering requirements

– Help organize member events, meetings, and workshops.

– Add new members to Hubspot, wordpress, and Mailchimp.

– Monitor and update Member events on WordPress.

– Monitor and update Members via WhatsApp.

– Collate responses from Member surveys.

– Maintain the quality of the data in Hubspot.

 

– Communication and Marketing Support:

– Assist in the creation and distribution of newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.

– Collect quantitative and qualitative marketing data for KPIs.

 

– Photography Management:

– Maintain a library of photographs in our sharepointdirectory.

 

– Guide to the Surrey Hills 2026:

– liaise with members on their entry texts

– Collate the entries for the guide.

 

– E-Commerce:

– Maintain product listings and liaise with Members on the Surrey Hills eshop

 

– Corporate Portfolio:

– Update the corporate portfolio.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

– Proven experience as an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar role.

– Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

– Strong written and verbal communication skills.

– Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Microsoft Teams.

– Experience with WordPress, Hubspot, or similar CRM systems.

– Experience with event coordination is a plus.

– A positive attitude, proactive approach, and a willingness to learn.

– Passion for sustainability and community development is highly desirable.
