The Country Fair at Merrist Wood returns on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June 2026, bringing a bigger, better, action-packed countryside experience for all ages, with even more hands-on fun and new activities this year.
Organised by Surrey Hills Enterprises and Merrist Wood, Surrey’s leading land-based college, The fair brings the Surrey Hills to life with hands-on experiences, fascinating insights into the skills, education, and careers that shape the landscape, and inspiration for visitors of all ages.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
From Guildford:
The No 20 bus (Kite) from Guildford Friary Bus Station in Woodbridge Road goes to Fairlands Estate which is a short walk away from the College.
From Woking:
Catch the number 34 or 35 bus (both Arriva) to the Guildford Friary Bus Station and then get the number 20 bus (Kite) to Aldershot, getting off at Fairlands Estate.
From Camberley:
Catch the number 3 bus (Stagecoach) to Ash, then the number 20 bus (Kite) to Guildford, getting off at Fairlands Estate.
From Godalming:
Catch the number 70 or 71 bus (both Stagecoach) to Guildford Friary Bus Station and then catch the number 20 bus (Kite) to Aldershot, getting off at Fairlands Estate.
From Farnborough:
Catch the number 1 bus (Stagecoach) to Aldershot Bus Station and then the number 20 bus (Kite) to Guildford, getting off at Fairlands Estate.

There will be a bike rack to lock your bike to.

There is plenty of free parking at Merrist Wood. Stewards will help guide you to available parking spaces.
If you require disabled parking or access please mention this to the stewards who will direct you accordingly.
