The National Trust’s family-friendly trail is a two-mile level walk offering a great opportunity to enjoy yourselves in the woods, with activity options from tree-climbing to den-making. woodcocks and tree pipits. There is a shorter loop of just less than one-mile where the surface is more accessible (see map below).

This is mostly level and surfaced for much of its length. The paths are well maintained but may become slippery in wet or wintry weather.

This project has been supported by the Surrey Hills DEFRA Access for All Fund.

Start at the Visitor Centre and cross the carpark until you reach the trail head of the Natural Play Centre. Once on the route, it is well waymarked with an easy to follow trail.
