A summers evening hike at social pace for the Guildford Walkfest.
A 5mile/8km loop from Albury to Little London edging Blackheath forest; ponds, hills, farms and William IV pubs.
Our route is fairly easy terrain with a couple of short undulations .Albury Heath and its shady forest of majestic trees, picturesque farms and fishing ponds shows of the best of the Surrey Hills. The route to Blackheath takes us past some gorgeous cottages, stiles & fields, trout fish pond and watercress streams and some breath-taking hilltop view.
We have the option to end our hike at the William IV Pub in Little London for a refreshment (Optional). Or walk back to the car park (approx 400m).
Difficulty: Easy, moderate
Duration: 2-2.5h plus pub time (optional)
Bring: drink, snack, money for pub at the end
