Just Hike:
 11.5km Blackheath, Chilworth Gunpowder, Alpacas & St. Marthas Circular

A 7.1 mile scenic but hilly route starting at the beautiful Blackheath Heathlands SSSI, visiting Chilworth Vineyards’ Alpacas and circling St Martha’s Hill.

This group hike takes us through beautiful woodland of Blackheaths sandy paths and Pine forest. A short walk edging Chilworths farms yards will lead us towards the Chilworth Vineyards and resident Alpacas. From there we’ll take the medium-challenging route half way up St Marthas Hill (group decision if we go to the top) and leading around along a picturous path toward Tytings Farm. Back in the ancient woodland of Chantries we now edge a field (bring hiking boots) and head downwards back to Chilworth Vineyards and the Gunpowder mill. Finishing with a longer gentle climb back into the village of Blackheath and back to our starting point.
