Our boxes are all beautifully wrapped in sustainable packaging and can be sent to you or straight to the recipient with a handwritten note.

About us

Sensiful was launched in 2022 by me, Jess, to give you the convenience of shopping online to buy thoughtful, unique presents while still supporting local Surrey businesses.

I have worked in operations for many years and helped to run a number SMEs and I’ve always had the ambition to start up my own business.

Even though it’s something I always wanted to do, it took some serious life changing events (namely two primary cancers and a world pandemic) to push me to finally take the plunge!

During the first lockdown, my brother and I wanted to send a hamper to my aunt who was vulnerable and in isolation. We hunted online for a hamper of local goods and couldn’t find one we liked so we set about making a gift box ourselves full of local goodies. My aunt was thrilled with the gift and the seed for Sensiful was sown.

We are based in the Surrey Hills, and we work with a wide range of amazing local enterprises from across the county who make, design or distribute many special, wonderful gifts. Many of our suppliers are already members of the Surrey Hills Enterprises!

We have spent many hours sourcing exclusive combinations of marvellous gifts to fill our beautiful Sensiful boxes. Each box is curated to fill up your senses with wonderful looks, tastes and smells. There’s a Sensiful box for everyone and for many occasions.

Love of the Surrey Hills

I have lived in Surrey pretty much all my life! I love walking in the beautiful Surrey Hills, running along the Wey Navigation and shopping at local farmers markets.

At Sensiful, we are all about local! As well as stocking only local gifts, we also try, wherever possible, to use local businesses to help keep us running.

We use very talented local web designers, local graphic designers and local photographers – all from Surrey.

For every gift box purchased, Sensiful will donate 50p to two local causes that are close to Sensiful’s heart. Donations will be split between Shooting Star Children’s Hospices and The Fountain Centre to help them with their wonderful work for our community.
