WE’VE WON THE IWSC’S UK GIN PRODUCER OF THE YEAR AWARD 2022!

We couldn’t be prouder of the Wessex Distillery team for earning this award. We’ve previously won multiple gin related awards from the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC), and have taken part for the past 5 years. Most recently we’ve taken home the gold outstanding award for our Wyvern’s Classic London Dry Gin in 2020, double gold for our Alfred the Great Gin in 2021, and gold for our Saxon Garden Floral Gin in 2021. In 2022, we also won gold again for our English Sloe Gin and Old Tom Gin for The Dorchester Hotel.

Our premium ingredients are sourced from the beautiful English countryside, and are partly why our gin was awarded the best gin on the market. With a range of flavours to choose from, try it out for yourself there’s a Gin to suit everyone.

Wessex Distillery began in 2017, although we’ve been in the gin making business for years. For us, making gin is more than a family business, beyond our love of taste testing the gins we truly have a passion for the best of the best English gin. So do our customers.

Our gin making experience features a tour of our gin distillery, followed by our gin lab activity where you can use our copper gin still to create your own gin recipe to take a custom bottle of gin home!

Our distillery is like a second home, so we treat every visitor with a friendly welcome, in a laid back atmosphere.
